Have we got a great meeting lined up! We're going to be going through using Audition. I know for some of us, this powerful audio program has remained a bit of a mystery. Most of us know how to do some basic audio work in it, but what about more advanced stuff?

In this session, Adobe's Principal Worldwide Evangelist, Jason Levine will discuss the fundamentals of prepping and finalizing audio for your video projects. From proper use of compression and limiting on dialog tracks, to analyzing and matching audio levels for broadcast or the web, to basic techniques for properly equalizing audio and mixing with native and 3rd party effects. He'll also cover common audio mastering techniques to give your final audio mix that much needed 'punch', as well as discuss the differences between normalization/compression/hard limiting and where it's most appropriate to use any/or of these common processes. 

This is one meeting you don't want to miss! We'll do our normal troubleshooting session, and raffle off some stuff - don't forget that next month is our bi-annual Creative Suite raffle. If you haven't attended a meeting yet, and you want to be included for that raffle, you have to come this month.
